Alternative to the book “Getting Things Done”?

Q: Alternative to the book “Getting Things Done”?

I like the GTD idea of putting things out of my head, but when I tried to read the book I found it terribly boring and too “corporatese”. Is there another book that teaches the same or similar system, but for individuals to organize their lives instead of their jobs?
